My first memory of using a camera, was bringing my dad’s twin lens reflex camera to photograph my fourth grade class, since we were moving during the summer and would be changing schools.
As a teenager, I bought a Canon Ftb and 3 prime lenses, and a flash. I did weddings and portraits after lots of practice and reading everything photography at the time; Modern and Popular Photography. magazines, and the Time Life Library of Photography.
In College, I was a photojournalism major, but could not afford the additional gear needed to succeed.
After law enforcement and the Marine Corps, I found my way to Information Technology, where I spent 30 years.
Now that I am retired, I am returning to my love of photography for my joy and for others.
